SUMMARY:Interpreting and Measuring Indicators of Rangeland Health Classes
DESCRIPTION:This course is sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management’s National Training Center (NTC) and the Natural Resources Conservation Services’s National Employee Development Center for the purpose of encouraging the use of the Rangeland Health Assessment tool by federal\, state agencies\, and others. Participants in this four day course will learn how to apply recent revisions to the “Interpreting Indicators of Rangeland Health” qualitative evaluation protocol and learn how to quantify selected core indicators. The protocol is widely applied by individuals and agencies to provide early warning of potential degradation\, opportunities for recovery and to help design monitoring programs. The quantitative indicators can also be used as baseline for monitoring. \nLearn More !
