The 90,000-acre Badger Fire burned nearly a third of the South Hills this fall in Twin Falls and Cassia counties. In an effort to speed up regrowth and reestablish habitat for wildlife, the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management have been laying down native seed on some of the burned area. (full article)

Carson City, Nev – A subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC will be hosting two virtual public meetings to discuss their proposed Mason Valley and Pine Nut solar and energy storage projects on Wed., July 21, and Thurs., July 22. CARSON CITY, Nev. — On February 22, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Nevada Department of Corrections – Silver State Industries conducted a saddle-trained wild horse and burro adoption event at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center (NNCC) south of Carson City, Nevada.
